ADVANCED OBEDIENCE
Taught By:
Marth McClusky of Flying W Dog Training

Class size will be limited. This will give each student more one-on-one training with the instructor. No "one size fits all" training. Complete the
Enrollment Form and return it with your payment and your dog's vet records, including rabies certificate, in order to ensure a spot for you and your dog.

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


COMPETITION ATTENTION


To participate in this course, your dog must be able to walk on a loose lead without pulling or lunging, sit and down off-lead, and be under verbal and emotional control around other dogs and trainers.

paw Teach your dog "heads-up, eyes-down" attention and focus
Motivate quick response to commands

pawInstill and maintain exercise speed through the use of special training games

pawIntroduce advanced training exercises including jumping and go-outs

pawLearn smooth and natural handling that produces a polished team

pawInstall a training "on/off switch" by teaching stationing and start-up exercises

pawEnjoy your dog and the training process!

OPEN (Beginner/Advanced)



To participate in this course, your dog must know all of the Novice exercises. While the COMPETITION ATTENTION course is not required, it is HIGHLY recommended.

pawLearn, practice, or polish all the Open (CDX) exercises

pawGain and maintain motivation and control

pawPrevent or solve Open training problems

pawHeeling, fronts, and finishes will be included in every class

pawEnjoy your dog and the Open training process!
UTILITY(Beginner/Advanced)

To participate in this course, your dog must know all of the Novice and Open exercise. While the COMPETITION ATTENTION and the OPEN courses are not required, they are HIGHLY recommended.

pawLearn, practice, or polish all the Utility (UD) exercises

pawGain and maintain motivation and control

pawPrevent or solve Utility training problems

pawHeeling, fronts, and finishes will be included in every class

pawEnjoy your dog and the Utility training process!
COURSE FEES



paw $90.00 for each 6 week course, payable to Flying W.
Course payment is due prior to the start of each course.
10% discount for 2 classes taken in the same session.
20% discount for 3 classes taken in the same session.
paw $5.00 ring rental fee for each class, payable to Golden Rule.
Class payment is due the evening of each class attended.
(A payment envelope will be provided for each class.)
PRIVATE LESSON FEES

paw $45.00 for each one hour lesson, payable to Flying W.
Lesson payment is due at the end of the lesson.
paw $15.00 ring rental fee for each one hour lesson, payable to Golden Rule.
This fee is due at the end of each lesson.
(Golden Rule provides an envelope and deposit box.)

Please Note: All Advanced students must sign both Flying W and Golden Rule waivers of liability, which will be kept on record.
